I love this little [smaller than my iPhone] external hard drive that you could literally just keep in your shirt or pants pocket and have an additional access to over 320 GB of extra space, however I’ve had some trouble accessing it.
Pros:
1. Super small & thin
2. Rubber outside…yes I did drop it a few times on purpose to check its durability (it bounces)
3. Says it comes with 320 GB of space & it registers on my computer as 319.99 so it’s accurate
4. Transferring from my entire Mac library of information to the device took only about 6 hours (a little over 100GB)
Cons:
1. Doesn’t seem to want to find its self on my other Mac, but if I plug in mine it comes right up
2. Wish it had a little attachment cord so I didn’t always have go to find it
I’m going to see if I can’t borrow someone else’s computer and see if I can access the drive easier and something is just wrong with my other Mac. So far though, I’m a bit nervous if it will be easy to access on other machines besides mine. At least my data is stored somewhere, but accessing it elsewhere is kinda the point. I will check back in with a review update when this is possible.

Verbatim has a winner with this tiny, sexy rubber covered beauty. Once you get past the Titan’s amazing form, your next concern will be how it handles its tasks. I gave it several tasks: first up, transfer about 2000 files, 8 gigabytes in total. No problem, said the drive, what’s next. Ok, I said, how about 20 thousand files, approximately 40 gigabytes. Piece of cake, replied the drive. Finally, I gave it untold thousands of files totally 90 gigabytes. Again, no problem.
Pretty impressive for a drive that requires no external power and fits in your shirt pocket.
The only issue I can see with this drive is that the included usb connection is very short. Convenient for laptop users, not convenient for plugging into desktops if the need arises.
Highly recommended.

It’s a standard 320gb laptop sized (2.5) drive, that is in an external case, powered by a usb cable. It includes some software directly on the drive, however in my case I simply ignored that and used it as a windows backup drive. I honestly didn’t even realize it was on there before I formatted the drive. Whoops. Noise is normal for a small drive, which is to say very quiet.
The accessories. Well there aren’t really any. You get a very short usb cable, that if hooking up to a laptop and sitting on the same surface will work great, however if you’re working on a desktop or plugging in in some other matter, you’ll need a different cable. Thankfully these are quite cheap. Also the older usb powered drives you used to get a two pronged usb cable to power them, however this one seems to work just fine on a normal cable, but will need a fully powered usb port.
The rubberized case that it comes on seems pretty nice, although it will probably collect dust/hair and anything else that’s slightly statically charged. There is a noticeable gap on one side (where they inserted the external case), that’s only sealed by two circles (one on each side). At first I tried to ‘open’ this side (not seeing the usb port on the other end), but really it’s part of the drive.
All said, it’s a nice cheap external drive, although I’d be interested knowing what type of drive they use, but even without that it seems quite solid, and not much fluff to keep the price down.
